AHMEDABAD, OCTOBER 27
What does it take to live a happier life, break free from inherited beliefs and achieve financial independence? Three books exploring these questions took centre stage in Ahmedabad, bringing together the worlds of literature, personal development and money management.
Three books authored or adapted by Jignesh Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Mantavya News 24×7, were launched at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) on Monday, October 26, under the theme “Mann Ki Baat, Mantavya Roope – A Conversation of Thoughts, Stories, and Perspectives.”
The event was jointly organised by Mantavya News 24×7, Adarsh Prakashan, Karma Foundation and the Gujarati Book Club. Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, motivational speaker Sanjay Raval and media personality RJ Devaki launched the books.
Love life, one moment at a time
The first title, Love You Zindagi, centres on the art of living each moment with enthusiasm, joy and hope. It encourages readers to cultivate a positive outlook, appreciate life’s experiences and approach everyday challenges with renewed energy.
Its message is simple but significant: a fulfilling life is not merely about reaching milestones; it is also about learning to value the journey.
Challenge old beliefs, discover new possibilities
With the subtitle Delete Old Beliefs and Install True Freedom, Think Outside the Box urges readers to question restrictive assumptions and embrace broader ways of thinking.
The book focuses on developing a more open mindset, encouraging creativity and exploring possibilities beyond conventional boundaries. Its central premise is that personal growth often begins when people reconsider beliefs they have long accepted without question.
Ancient wisdom for modern money challenges
The third title, The Richest Man in Babylon, is a Gujarati adaptation by Jignesh Patel of the celebrated personal-finance work by George S. Clason.
Through lessons associated with saving, disciplined spending, prudent investment and wealth preservation, Clason’s classic has long sought to make financial principles accessible through storytelling.
The Gujarati adaptation brings these themes to regional-language readers, highlighting the importance of financial discipline, self-reliance and long-term planning. Its message is particularly relevant in an age when financial decisions increasingly shape personal security and family wellbeing.
Where ideas meet everyday life
The launch brought together personalities from political, social, media and literary circles around the shared theme of ideas and perspectives. The three titles address different aspects of everyday life—emotional wellbeing, independent thinking and financial awareness—while inviting readers to reflect on their own choices and aspirations.
The books were warmly received by attendees and literature enthusiasts. Together, they underline how accessible writing can open conversations about living meaningfully, questioning familiar assumptions and making wiser financial decisions.
Ultimately, the value of an inspirational book lies not merely in the ideas it presents, but in whether readers can translate those ideas into thoughtful, practical changes in their lives.
