Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI Chairperson CA (Dr) Anjali Choksi on Wednesday announced that two of its students have brought laurels to the institute by becoming the national topper in the CA Final and 13th ranker in the Intermediate examinations held in May this year.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA Final and CA Intermediate examinations held in May 2023. Akshay Ramesh Jain, topper in the 2019 intermediate examination, scored 616 out of 800 marks or 77 percent in the CA Final examination also to become the national topper.
According to Jain, the winning mantra of success are maintaining regular, consistent study patterns, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all chapters, and practising writing.
Kashish Vipul Khandhar secured the 13th rank in the All India Ranking for the CA Intermediate with a score of 648 out of 800. Khandhar attributed consistency, hard work, and dedication for achieving this feat.
The nationwide pass rate for the CA Final groups is 8.33%. Group 1 boasted an 11.91% pass rate, with Group 2 scoring 31.43%. Ahmedabad reported a 9.83% pass rate for both groups. Specifically, Group 1 from Ahmedabad centre achieved 11.35% and Group 2 reached 33.12%. The number of candidates who cleared the CA Final exam stands at 13,430.
The nationwide pass rate for the CA Intermediate exam was 10.24%. Group 1 secured an 18.95% pass rate and Group 2 scored 23.44%. Ahmedabad centre reported a 10.75% pass rate for both groups. Group 1 scored 15.62% while Group 2 scored 37.09%.
ICAI Central Council Member CA Purushottam Khandelwal and other office-bearers of Ahmedabad Chapter were also present at this event.
