Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday flagged off ‘Dandi Cycle Yatra’ on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Dandi March in Ahmedabad.

The Dandi Cycle Yatra, organised by Gujarat Vidyapeeth, left for Dandi from Kocharab Ashram in Ahmedabad.
અમદાવાદમાં દાંડી કૂચની 92મી વર્ષગાંઠ નિમિત્તે 'દાંડી સાયકલ યાત્રા' નો શુંભારંભ કર્યો.
કોચરબ આશ્રમથી દાંડી સુધીની આ યાત્રા 7 દિવસમાં પૂર્ણ થશે. જેમાં ગુજરાત વિદ્યાપીઠના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ 7 ગામોમાં રાત્રિ રોકાણ કરશે અને ગ્રામીણ કારીગરોને વધુ સશક્ત બનાવવાની પધ્ધતિઓ પર સંવાદ કરશે. pic.twitter.com/8lcLBJSlDv

The Dandi March or Salt Satyagrah was organised by Mahatma Gandhi from the Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad to the village of Dandi in the state’s coastal area. The Salt Satyagrah was a part of Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent movement against British rule.
1930 में आज ही के दिन गांधी जी ने विदेशी शासन के काले नमक कानून के विरुद्ध साबरमती आश्रम से दांडी नमक सत्याग्रह की शरुआत कर भारतीय स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के इतिहास में स्वर्णिम अध्याय जोड़ा।

The movement was started on March 12, 1930, and ended on April 5, 1930.
PM pays tributes to Gandhiji, all those greats who marched to Dandi
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and all the eminent persons who marched to Dandi in order to protest injustice and protect our nation’s self-esteem.
The Prime Minister has also shared his speech from 2019, when he had dedicated National Salt Satyagraha Memorial to the nation.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said; ”Tributes to Gandhi Ji and all those greats who marched to Dandi in order to protest injustice and protect our nation’s self-esteem.
