The stage sparkled. The applause thundered. The smiles grew wider. And for one unforgettable day, every child at Delhi Public School Gandhinagar had a reason to feel like a star.
From tiny achievers taking their first steps into the world of learning to senior students standing proudly on the threshold of their future, Prerna: A Never-Ending Saga transformed the annual award ceremony into a vibrant celebration of dreams, determination, inclusion and the sheer joy of being a learner.
DPS Gandhinagar celebrated excellence, perseverance and holistic development at its Annual Award Ceremony for the Academic Session 2025–26, honouring outstanding achievements of students from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary.
Inspired by the immortal words of former President Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, “Dream, dream, dream. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action,” the ceremony brought alive the school’s vision of nurturing future-ready individuals who combine academic excellence with character, compassion and a commitment to society.
Guided by its motto, “Service Before Self,” the school felicitated students for outstanding academic performance, excellence in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) and exemplary 100% attendance. Every award reflected more than a mark, medal or certificate—it celebrated discipline, dedication, perseverance and the courage to keep moving forward.
The celebrations also spotlighted the impressive performance of DPS Gandhinagar in the CBSE Board Examinations 2025–26. Class X recorded a school average of 85.78%, while Class XII achieved a commendable 82.60%, showcasing the collective efforts of students, teachers and parents.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Shikha Choudhary, Founder of Cyber Commando, and Guest of Honour Dr Meva Ram Ola, Joint Commissioner, Indian Revenue Service (IRS). They were welcomed by Principal Anju Singh and Headmaster Rakesh Kumar Bhagat.
Addressing the students, the dignitaries urged them to dream without fear, embrace challenges with confidence and pursue excellence while remaining firmly rooted in integrity, determination and strong values.
When every child found a ‘Pehchan’
One of the most moving moments of the programme was ‘Pehchan’, a thoughtfully curated audiovisual presentation showcasing the creativity, talent and inspiring journeys of the students of Saaransh.

Celebrating individuality, inclusion and the joy of self-expression, the presentation touched the hearts of the audience and powerfully reinforced the school’s commitment to creating a compassionate learning environment where every child is valued, respected and encouraged to shine in their own unique way.
The mood then shifted from deeply emotional to delightfully electric as students across grades took centre stage with captivating cultural performances. Bursting with colour, music, creativity and confidence, the performances reflected the power of teamwork and the joy of expression.
As award recipients walked up to receive recognition for their achievements, proud parents, teachers and well-wishers responded with enthusiastic applause.
