Sense International India on Friday announced that the city’s biggest, brightest and most happening 9th Annual cyclothon – Messengers on Cycles – is ready to hit the streets on Sunday.
A route of 3Kms for tricycle and hand-cycle riders, 7Kms for children (aged 12-17 years) and 15Kms for adult (aged 18 years and above) bicycle riders have been demarcated.
“The Messengers on Cycles is the city’s most unique cyclothon to commemorate the birthday of Helen Keller and celebrate her indomitable spirit. People in tricycles and bicycles come together to not only ride, but race to spread awareness on a unique disability called Deafblindness within the city and the country. This event will be a spectacular support to over 80,000+ individuals with deafblindness in 23 states of India,” says the organiser.
Sense International India along with more than 500 tri-cyclists and cyclists will fill the streets transforming into heroes riding for inclusion, education and support for children and adults with Deafblindness.
This fun filled cycling event will also give an opportunity to enjoy with Bollywood warm up and Zumba, life size snake and ladder and other games, click for change photo booth, breakfast stations, ice-creams and much more fun at the venue.
