Within hours of its unveiling, MG Group secured a confirmed order for 50 Starz coaches, underlining the industry’s confidence in the platform and signalling strong demand from fleet operators seeking next-generation mobility solutions.
Designed after extensive interaction with customers, fleet operators and OEM partners, Starz has been developed to deliver a premium ownership experience while helping operators maximise profitability through improved efficiency, lower lifecycle costs and higher fleet uptime.

The platform will be offered in multiple configurations catering to intercity transportation, tourism, staff mobility and institutional transport, with both diesel and alternative-fuel powertrain options to suit varying operational requirements.
Expected to be priced from around ₹39 lakh onwards, depending on configuration, bookings commence this month, with customer deliveries scheduled thereafter.

Starz is backed by MG Group’s two advanced manufacturing facilities operated by MG Automotives (Bus & Coach) Pvt. Ltd.
Its Belagavi, Karnataka, plant serves as the company’s Centre of Excellence for premium and super-premium coaches, equipped with advanced fabrication, precision welding, modern paint systems and integrated quality assurance processes.
The Zaheerabad, Telangana, facility focuses on high-volume manufacturing of school buses, staff transport vehicles, institutional mobility solutions and economy coach platforms while continuously upgrading manufacturing capabilities through lightweight composites, digital engineering and process excellence.
