Addressing the young trainees, Dravid said, “You all are very fortunate that you are a part of such a wonderful setup here at Super Kings Academy. Even if you don’t become a cricketer, there is so much you can learn from the experiences of playing cricket. So many of you will come to this academy, you will learn how to practice and make friends. You succeed sometimes, you will fail sometimes, but at the end of the day all this will help you become a better person.”
His words struck a deeper chord—emphasising character-building, resilience, and lifelong learning, making the event as much about shaping individuals as it was about grooming cricketers.
Celebrating Excellence on the Field
Among the standout achievers, Kiran Karthikeyan was named the VB Chandrasekhar Cricketer of the Year (Boys), while Neha Yuvaraj clinched the DJ Gokulakrishnan Cricketer of the Year (Girls)—spotlighting emerging stars from the academy’s talent pool.
As Super Kings Academy continues to expand its global reach, the evening stood as a reminder that great cricket begins with strong foundations—and inspiring mentors like Rahul Dravid.
