Demonstrating that corporate responsibility extends beyond factory gates, the Fire Rescue Team of Chiripal Poly Films Limited sprang into action to help contain a fire that broke out in Bidaj village near its Bareja manufacturing facility, preventing what could have escalated into a major disaster.
The blaze erupted on Wednesday afternoon in a small warehouse storing cattle fodder at the residence of a pastoralist in Bidaj village of Kheda district. Given the highly combustible nature of the stored material, the fire posed a serious threat of spreading rapidly to adjoining properties.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Fire Rescue Team stationed at Chiripal Poly Films’ nearby manufacturing plant immediately mobilised and rushed to the site. Working in close coordination with local support teams, the firefighters launched prompt suppression operations and successfully brought the blaze under control before it could spread further.
The timely intervention significantly minimised potential damage to the surrounding area. Importantly, no humans or animals were harmed or injured during the incident.
“Community welfare and safety remain integral to our values at Chiripal Group. As a responsible corporate, we strongly believe that our role extends well beyond our business operations and also towards standing by and supporting the communities around us, especially during emergencies and in times of need. We are extremely proud of the swift response by the fire rescue teams at the Chiripal Poly Films’ plant in Bareja and the way they contained the fire and prevented it from spreading further, thus aiding the community,” said Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group.
The incident underscores the growing role of industrial emergency response teams in complementing local firefighting efforts and reinforcing community resilience during unforeseen emergencies, reflecting a model of responsible corporate citizenship that places public safety alongside business excellence.
