No politics in crisis: PM’s strong message
In a direct appeal that underscored the gravity of the situation, Modi cautioned against politicisation of sensitive issues.
“This is a matter concerning the interests of 140 crore countrymen; there is no place for self-serving politics.”
He further warned against misinformation:
“Those who are spreading rumours are causing a major harm to the country… remain vigilant and trust only official information.”
The remarks come amid rising global tensions impacting fuel markets and economic stability.
India’s global strength & diaspora support
Acknowledging the role of international partnerships, Modi expressed gratitude to Gulf nations hosting millions of Indians.
“I am deeply grateful to the Gulf countries… providing all kinds of assistance to more than 1 crore Indians.”
He credited India’s strengthened global relations over the past decade for helping navigate emerging crises.
Culture Connect: ‘Gyan Bharatam’ gains momentum
Shifting focus to heritage, the Prime Minister spotlighted the Gyan Bharatam Survey, urging citizens to document India’s manuscript wealth.
From Tai scripts in Arunachal Pradesh to Gurmukhi manuscripts from Punjab and copper plate records from Rajasthan, the initiative is becoming a cultural movement.
“I urge all of you to uncover and share aspects of your culture.”
Youth power: Ideas shaping India’s future
Calling India the “youngest country in the world,” Modi praised the role of MY Bharat in nation-building.
Nearly 12 lakh youth participated in a national budget quiz, with standout contributions on farmer welfare, women-led development, green growth, and rural sports.
“These ideas are crucial in taking the country forward.”
Sports & spirit: New heroes emerge
From India’s T20 World Cup triumph to Jammu & Kashmir’s historic Ranji Trophy win, the PM celebrated sporting milestones.
He lauded captain Paras Dogra and bowler Aaqib Nabi for their stellar performances, noting:
“This unprecedented success is the result of years of continuous efforts.”
Young achievers like Gulveer Singh and Anahat Singh were also highlighted, reflecting India’s expanding sporting horizons.
Fit India push: Small steps, big impact
Reiterating his fitness mantra, Modi urged citizens to reduce sugar intake and cut cooking oil by 10%.
“These small efforts will keep you away from obesity and lifestyle diseases.”
With less than 100 days to International Yoga Day, he noted yoga’s growing global appeal.
Water, science & tradition: Grassroots revolution
From water conservation success in Tripura’s Wangmun village to scientific learning initiatives like Anveshan in Bengaluru, the PM showcased people-driven change.
He also highlighted traditional knowledge systems like Nagaland’s Morung education model:
“Sometimes, our own traditional knowledge offers the strongest path forward.”
Solar & self-reliance: Powering new India
Under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, citizens are turning into energy producers.
Stories like Gujarat’s Payal Munjpara, now a solar technician, and farmers shifting to solar pumps underline the transition.
“Do join this revolution and connect others too.”
People power: The real force
Closing his address, Modi emphasised collective strength:
“When society itself steps forward, even small efforts become the foundation of big change.”
Reaffirming confidence, he concluded:
“Just as we have overcome past crises… this time too, we will together emerge victorious.”
