AYODHYA, APR 2
In a powerful confluence of faith, heritage and future vision, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, reaffirmed his commitment to India’s living traditions during a spiritually significant visit to Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya—followed by a transformative engagement at the historic Shri Nishulk Gurukul Mahavidyalaya.
Accompanied by his wife Dr Priti Adani, elder son Karan Adani, and daughter-in-law Paridhi Adani, Adani offered prayers at the Ram Temple—widely revered as the birthplace of Lord Ram and a timeless symbol of devotion, unity and India’s civilisational continuity.
“A MOMENT OF EXTREME EMOTION AND PRIDE”
Reflecting on the darshan, Gautam Adani said: “This visit is a deeply personal moment for me. Experiencing darshan at the Shri Ram Temple is one of extreme emotion and pride. It represents not just a place of worship, but a symbol of India’s cultural continuity, unity and rising self-confidence.”
He added: “The ideals of Lord Ram—honesty, duty and service—must guide our collective journey as a nation.”

FROM TEMPLE TO GURUKUL: TRADITION MEETS TOMORROW
Extending the spiritual journey into the realm of knowledge, Adani visited Shri Nishulk Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, established in 1935 by Swami Tyaganand Ji and rooted in Arya Samaj principles of Vedic learning and social upliftment.
Interacting with students and faculty, he observed a system where discipline, inquiry and values converge to preserve India’s ancient knowledge traditions.
Emphasising the role of education, he said: “When learning is rooted in values, it does not just shape individuals, it shapes the future of a nation. Our responsibility is to carry these traditions forward while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow.”
AI-ENABLED FUTURE FOR ANCIENT LEARNING
Highlighting the need to align tradition with technology, Adani announced support for integrating an AI-enabled laboratory at the gurukul through the Adani Foundation.
He noted: “As India accelerates into an AI-driven future, preserving our knowledge systems becomes even more urgent. The convergence of tradition and technology will empower the next generation with both wisdom and innovation.”
SEVA AS A WAY OF LIFE
Reinforcing his philosophy of service, Adani said: “Seva Hi Sadhana Hai—service is not just an act, but a sustained commitment to society rooted in humility, responsibility and purpose.”
The gurukul, which offers free education to around 200 students, stands as a model of inclusive learning. Its campus—complete with a traditional cow shelter—reflects a harmonious blend of cultural, ecological and rural values.
A CONTINUUM OF FAITH & NATIONAL IDENTITY
Adani’s Ayodhya visit builds on his continued engagement with India’s spiritual traditions, including participation in major religious gatherings such as the Maha Kumbh and Rath Yatra—reinforcing a narrative where faith, service and knowledge form the pillars of national progress.
